I am still in search for the jasmine that my friend who was 8 years old brought to Bulgaria from her aunt in Paris 1992.
The smell of white roses, my grandfather used to grow flowers in his garden and name the flowers after his grandchildren. So when ever I came home I would be able to go and smell “Alexandra” my personal rose.
Making fragrance from my mother’s rose bushes when I was a child – I had so much fun with my friends picking the petals and bottling the fragrance to sell to our family, friends, and neighbours!
I remember the smell of orange flower on fresh crepes we had after a cold day playing outside when I was a child.
Rose petals in water takes me straight back to making flying potions in my garden as a little girl, back to a time when quite literally anything seemed possible.
