Collection of smell memories of home and first smell memories of London-Britain by Semra Eren-Nijhar

My first memory of smell goes back to the time when I was lost as a three-year-old in a department store. It was a kind of a strange smell between dust, steriliser and cleaning products. But as my mother was a very good cook the spaghetti bolognese smell is my smell for home.

My first memory of Britain is smoke. In the eighties everyone was smoking everywhere so it holds a deep place in my memory.

‘Flora’ by Gucci is the fragrance I always used.
